Discover Uni

Discover Uni provides information, advice and guidance to support prospective students to find out about options in higher education and make a decision which is right for them. It uses Graduate Outcomes survey data to help future students make choices about courses and providers.

The Discover Uni dataset includes information that providers submit about their undergraduate courses. It also uses official statistics compiled from reliable published sources to help potential students to make informed decisions about their course and university or college choices. 

This includes the Graduate Outcomes survey, National Student Survey (NSS) and Longitudinal Education Outcomes (LEO). 

Graduate Outcomes provides data about what graduates are doing 15 months after completing their course. We believe this provides the time for you to reflect on the value your studies have played in your current activities, how this compares to your original plans and how you’re using skills you’ve picked up whilst in education.

To help future students make choices about courses and providers, Discover Uni uses the data from a number of key questions from the Graduate Outcomes survey. These include: 

• what graduates are currently doing (working, further study, unemployed or doing something else)
• how much they are earning
• their perceptions of work following their completion of their course, including reflections on:
  • how meaningful or important they feel their activity to be
  • whether they are using the skills they gained
  • how they are progressing towards their future goals.

If you did, then Graduate Outcomes data would have helped you get where you are today. Take the survey when the time is right and help future students make decisions about their future.
